Our tint lasts for 20+ years and has been known to last even longer! I like to say that it will last as long as the brick because our product binds at the molecular level. Once it's cured, it's not going anywhere!
Our tint product uses the same pigments used in the firing of bricks. It is high-quality and long-lasting. The mixture spreads evenly and absorbs into the brick binding to it, so the finish will be a natural look.
We have specialised products which last a similar amount of time (20+ years) for tinting on non-absorbent surfaces such as Engineering bricks, which can still look natural when applied by an expert. We use our regular high-quality product for Brick, Stone and Mortar.
In short, no. Our tint product allows the surface to breathe as much as possible. It does not seal the brick which is a concern for most because doing so may affect the longevity of the brick and may also void warranties offered by brick suppliers. The specialised products for non-absorbent surfaces seal the surface more but still allows some penetration.
Yes, we guarantee matching the colour to a high quality and standard - new and discontinued. However, we cannot guarantee the same for texture. There's a greater chance to match texture when we are repairing on a small-scale. But, it's important that you use a brick similar in its texture, when building anything large-scale, that you want matched to existing elevations.
Yes, although there is no fixed ££££ figure, it may increase you're property value by improving the curb appeal which ultimately results in sales. It is estimated around 3-5% amidst other factors that affect the value of your property. Brick/stone homes also appreciate in value compared to other types so it's worth investing in their maintenance and appearance.
